Simone Ostrowski – Employment Lawyer Ontario
Simone Ostrowski practices all types of workplace law, including employment, labour, human rights and occupational health and safety law. Simone excels at litigating and thinking on her feet. She has appeared before several courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Superior Court, Ontario Labour Relations Board, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal.
Simone prides herself on providing excellent client service and explaining complex legal concepts in understandable terms. She regularly advises employer and employee clients regarding a wide range of workplace issues, including employee hiring, contract negotiation, dismissals, disability accommodation, harassment and bullying, workplace policies and executive compensation.
Simone has written several papers and presentations on employment law issues, including presenting at the Ontario Bar Association’s Annual Update on Human Rights in May 2016, and various presentations for the Human Resources Professionals Association in Toronto.
Before working at Whitten & Lublin, Simone articled and practiced at two other labour and employment boutiques. She received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s Law and her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. In her free time, Simone uses any excuse to spend time outdoors, including running, skiing, hiking, and cycling.
