Alexa is an associate at Whitten & Lublin, exclusively practicing employment law. She is driven by the opportunity to help clients navigate these situations with confidence, ensuring their rights and interests are protected while working toward practical, meaningful outcomes. Originally from Hong Kong, Alexa is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Her language skills and cultural perspective allow her to connect with a diverse range of clients, particularly in matters involving workplace dynamics, discrimination, accommodation, and cultural fit.
Alexa is known for being thoughtful, empathetic, and pragmatic. She takes the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and communicates in clear, plain language, breaking down complex legal issues into practical advice. Responsive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, she ensures clients feel informed and supported throughout the process. Her client-focused approach means she tailors her strategy to align with each client’s objectives and what success looks like for them.
Alexa is a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) and the Group of Racialized (Ontario) Women Litigators (GROWL).
Outside of work, Alexa is a self-described foodie who enjoys trying new recipes and exploring new restaurants. She is also a passionate fan of musical theatre and live entertainment.
